Cancellation Policy

Plans change, especially travel plans. Our policy is designed to be flexible and honest: you plan free, you only place a small deposit to confirm, and the balance is paid on arrival, so there is very little money at risk if life gets in the way.

Changing your dates

Rescheduling is free. Move your tour to new dates at no charge up to 48 hours before your start time, subject to availability. Your deposit simply follows the trip to its new dates. Most guests who cannot travel choose this option.

If you cancel

• 7 days or more before your tour starts: your deposit is refunded in full, no questions asked.
• Less than 7 days before your tour starts: your deposit is held as travel credit valid for 12 months, usable on any of our tours, by you or someone you name.
• Less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: the deposit is not refundable, because by then guides, vehicles, riads and camps are booked and paid for your dates.
• Day trips and single-day excursions: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.

Since the balance of your trip price is only paid on arrival, cancellation never puts the full trip cost at risk before you travel.

If we cancel

It almost never happens, but if we ever have to cancel your tour and cannot offer an acceptable alternative, everything you have paid us, including the deposit, is refunded in full within 14 days.

Weather and safety changes

Desert sandstorms, snow on the Tizi n’Tichka pass or road closures occasionally force route changes. In those cases we reroute to the best practical alternative at no extra cost. If a change removes a significant paid element of your trip (for example the desert camp night), we refund the difference or arrange a replacement, your choice.

Force majeure

If events beyond anyone’s control (border closures, natural disasters, epidemics) make your trip impossible, we first offer free rescheduling to any date within 24 months. If you prefer not to rebook, your deposit is returned in full.

How to cancel or reschedule

Message us on WhatsApp at +212 768 258 066 or email moroccotripway@gmail.com. The date we receive your message is the date that counts. Refunds are returned by the same method you paid, within 7 to 14 business days.

This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions. If your written quote states different terms for a specific trip (rare, for example peak-season desert camps), the quote prevails.
